The colourful fleet of the fishing port at La Turballe comprises 53 recently constructed units, wooden, metal or plastic hulled. Fishing
involves more than 300 working professionals, skippers and
fishing crew and generates considerable employment linked to fishing:
wholesalers, fish merchants, drivers, ship's mechanics, marine co-operative,
